"Fantastic tour. We had a fabulous time. No rain and clear visibility the entire trip. Thanks for arranging it!"

What the client asked for

A fully curated land-and-sea journey designed for travelers seeking Alaska without the need to fly. Two couples planning an Alaska cruise sought a creative solution for one traveler who preferred not to fly — the result was a fully immersive rail-and-cruise expedition that transformed transportation into part of the experience.

What I booked for them

The journey began with an Amtrak sleeper route from Texas to the West Coast, continuing through Los Angeles and up to Seattle before boarding a seven-night Alaska cruise with balcony accommodations for uninterrupted views of Alaska's dramatic coastline. Shore experiences included private whale watching, glacier region excursions, and time with sled-dog puppies. After the cruise, the journey continued by rail with an overnight stay in Chicago before returning home across the Midwest. Custom spiral-bound travel guides outlined every segment — train routes, cruise details, and curated experiences.

"We could not have planned or enjoyed this amazing vacation without Kat's planning expertise and connections. The birthday cake was so thoughtful, and when we needed help with insurance, she guided us through everything."

What the client asked for

A meaningful rail journey through the Canadian Rockies designed as a tribute experience centered around Lake Louise. A family seeking a commemorative journey chose Canada as the setting to honor their late mother's 100th birthday — designed not only as a rail journey, but as a celebration of memory, connection, and place.

What I booked for them

A Rocky Mountaineer GoldLeaf Service itinerary was selected to showcase the grandeur of the Canadian Rockies, with pre- and post-stays in Vancouver, curated activities, and private transfers throughout. At the Fairmont Château Lake Louise, a surprise birthday cake was arranged in honor of their mother, creating a deeply personal celebratory dinner moment. When an unexpected injury required a change in travel plans, itineraries were seamlessly adjusted and the family was supported through the travel insurance process, ensuring continuity and care throughout the experience.

"Thank you, Kat, for a wonderful trip! The Anne Frank House was amazing and our Lucerne guides were so knowledgeable. Looking forward to our next trip!"

What the client asked for

They came with a specific cruise in mind, but wanted help with all the details. Touring the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam was a must-do.

What I booked for them

I found a special offer via my supplier that included 2-for-1 fare for a Rhine Getaway, PLUS 2-for-1 business class airfare from the USA. I coordinated both pre-cruise in Amsterdam and post-cruise stays in Lucerne with tours (including Anne Frank!), plus all transfers.

"The perfect way to celebrate New Year's! Everything was organized for our group, and all we had to do was show up and enjoy ourselves."

What the client asked for

A festive New Year's cruise that began as a sailing for three couples and evolved into a larger group celebration as family and friends joined the journey. The itinerary needed to be expanded and coordinated into a seamless group booking so all travelers were accommodated together.

What I booked for them

Expanded the sailing into a seamless group booking, ensuring all travelers were accommodated together and able to share the holiday experience at sea. Handled full group cruise coordination, the New Year's Eve celebration at sea, and expanded multi-family travel planning — with logistics fully managed, the group could focus entirely on celebrating together.

"Our honeymoon to South Africa was the trip of our dreams. With Kat's help we were worry free from the very beginning and most importantly we felt safe the entire time as a result of her help."

What the client asked for

A honeymooning couple seeking something distinctive and meaningful wanted to maximize their time while experiencing Africa in a way that felt both luxurious and unhurried — a luxury honeymoon across Cape Town, the Cape Winelands, and the Sabi Sand Reserve, designed around limited travel time and maximum immersion.

What I booked for them

Began in Cape Town with business-class flights and a stay at a boutique luxury property, followed by private touring in the Cape Winelands and curated dining experiences. The itinerary continued onward to the Sabi Sand Nature Reserve, where a private luxury safari suite with plunge pool served as the centerpiece — twice-daily game drives, spa treatments, and immersive wildlife encounters defined the rhythm of their stay. Every connection, from international flights to internal transfers, was carefully orchestrated to ensure a seamless transition between city and wilderness.
